Portrait Pricing
Our session fee is $100 in studio and $200 on location but please remember that when you ask me to create a portrait for you, you are granting me the very special and personal privilege of exploring your innermost feelings and emotions and I consider that to be a great honor, but before we design anything we should sit down together so that we can get to know each other and discuss the type of portrait that you would like.
What type of portrait are you interested in?
Is it to be a personal portrait for your family history?
Do you want it to be dramatic or casual?
Is it to be a gift for a very special person?
Do you want it to hang proudly on your wall for all to see or is it to be included in your family album to be shown on your coffee table?
We need to take all these things into consideration before we make any decisions.
Are there children involved, perhaps pets?
Do you have a talent or hobby you want incorporated?
Do you wish to have a studio portrait? An outdoor image? One created at your own house or perhaps a special place of your own choosing?
Then of course we need to decide what everyone will wear.
All these things need to be taken into consideration before we can decide upon a price that will be satisfactory to everyone. So, by all means, let us get together and chat before we make any decisions.
It will depend on how you want your portrait finished and the size of that portrait that will govern the final cost to you.
And so you see, it is far more than just asking "How much is an 8 x 10?"
